Lorde unofficially kicked off summer Thursday with the release of a music video for her new single Solar Power.

Lorde opened the music video reclining on the beach in a bright yellow crop top while wearing cool retro sunglasses.

‘I hate the winter, can’t stand the cold; I tend to cancel all the plans,’ she sang while shown on a beach blanket with some gal pals.

‘But when the heat comes, something takes a hold,’ Lorde continued as she removed her shades and walked away wearing a matching long, yellow skirt.

‘Can I kick it? Yeah, I can,’ Lorde said as she strutted and danced barefoot down toward the water to prove it.

Lorde flashed a cute smile while singing and coyly crooned, ‘Come one, come all, I’ll tell you my secrets; I’m kinda like a prettier Jesus’.

She then approached a group of women dancing in sync on the sand with calm waters in the background stretching back toward the horizon.

‘Forget all of thе tears that you’ve cried; It’s ovеr (Over, over, over); It’s a new state of mind; Are you coming, my baby?,’ Lorde sang.

Lorde played chess on the sand, pranced around as a group did yoga and then took a hit from a plant bong before jumping on a raft.
