He’s in the upper echelon of Australian cricketing legends.

Shane went casual for the shopping trip, slipping into a dark hoodie and matching track pants.

He covered his blonde tresses with a beanie adorned with the name of his own gin company, and wisely covered his mouth and nose with a face mask.

On his feet the bowling legend wore leather sneakers, unfortunately offering his feet scant protection when he lost his grip on the heavy case of Mount Franklin.

The sporting hero is considered one of Australia’s greatest cricketers, but is also known for his rather colourful personal life.

Speaking on A Current Affair last month, he revealed it was difficult to balance a home life with elite cricket.

‘I wasn’t a nine-to-five dad who came home every night,’ he told the program.
