Katy Perry dotes on daughter Daisy Dove on a gondola ride with Orlando Bloom in Venice

She welcomed her first child, daughter Daisy Dove with Orlando Bloom in August. 

And Katy Perry looked every inch the doting mother as she played with her little one on a gondola ride in Venice on Wednesday.

Sitting alongside her handsome fiancé, the 36-year-old pop star seemed in great spirits on the family outing. 

Little Daisy looked adorable as she sat on her mother’s lap and pulled at Katy’s pink floral face covering while playing together. 

Katy then swept her 10-month-old up in her arms as she precariously hopped off the gondola to explore the sights of Venice with Orlando, 44. 

Clad in a summery yellow floral mini dress, Katy looked every inch the yummy mummy on the trip.

Katy enjoyed a spot of shopping with Orlando, who held hands with his wife-to-be as they strolled around the sunny streets.

The Lord Of The Rings actor kept his look casual as he donned a cream T-shirt over khaki slacks and a stone baseball cap.  

The couple are on the Italian getaway with other members of their close family, staying at the stunning Aman Hotel – which is nearly €5,000 [£4,300] a night for a suite.

The Aman is located in one of Venice’s eight monumental palazzos on the Grand Canal – the 16th-century Palazzo Papadopoli. 

Meanwhile, Katy recently gushed over life as a parent, praising Orlando for the way he treats their daughter but also how he acts as a dad to his son Flynn.

Speaking in the latest edition of L’Officiel USA, the singer spoke about Orlando’s relationship with the 10-year-old he shares with model Miranda Kerr, saying: ‘I was able to witness him and his fatherhood. 

‘The way that he showed up for him and continues to show up for him, and the efforts that he makes and the distance he goes, I think that’s one of the reasons I made that conscious decision.

‘I was like, “Here’s the father of my future children.” I could see his kindness, empathy, care, and tenderness. I courted that. I was like, “Okay, this is different.”

‘And this is his first girl, so it’s a totally different feeling for him. I’m really, really grateful to have him. And he really shows up in a huge emotional way, which is unique for me.’

Katy and Orlando welcomed little Daisy together in August 2020, 18 months after announcing that they were engaged.

Orlando proposed on Valentine’s Day 2019 and in an interview with Vogue India last year she gushed about their ‘spiritual journey’ and called him ‘a saint.’
