And 14 years later Penny Lancaster, 50, and Rod Stewart, 76, toasted their marriage on a romantic boat trip for two.

Taking to the river Thames on Wednesday, the couple reclined with cool drinks aboard a boat as they enjoyed the warm June London sunshine.

Cheers to that! They wed in 2007 in La Cervara, Italy, in an intimate ceremony. And 14 years later Penny Lancaster, 50, and Rod Stewart, 76, toasted their marriage on a romantic boat trip for two

‘Celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary on #sigridofchelsea in aid of @chainofhopeuk #london #thethames,’ Penny captioned the snap.

Cosying up for the photo, the couple looked content as they clinked glasses, Penny in a stunning floral summer dress.

She wore her blonde locks in waves around her smiling, bronzed features.

Rod donned an elaborate blazer over a white shirt and primrose yellow slacks for the sail up the river.

The model has been working as a Special Constable with the City Of London Police force after officially obtaining her badge in April.

Penny certainly appeared hard at work as she engaged in a stern conversation with a pedestrian during her shift in the city centre. The man has apparently urinated inside a metal sculpture at Bishopsgate and found himself being reprimanded by the force’s new recruit.

Penny even marched him to the nearest Boots, where she made him buy a bottle of water and return to wash down the sculpture.

Taking to Instagram, Penn uploaded a picture of the night out as she leaned in close to Rod, with Sally, 43, and Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie, 74, also embracing each other in the photo.

The picture comes after Rod Stewart documented his travels with Penny on Instagram as they visited a luxury Villa Vita park resort in Portugal’s Algarve last month.

With a private beach and moorish inspired design the exclusive resort offers the pair a chance to unwind and take in the picture postcard beauty of his surroundings.

Rod and Penny posed near the garden as they sat relaxing at the hotels Oasis Bar terrace with a few drinks. Rod also jokingly posed on the private beach alongside a tractor adding ‘very crowded on the beach today.’

He also managed to squeeze in a game of Scrabble spelling out the world of his beloved Celtic adding ‘Can’t get away from the pride of Glasgow.’

And he posed by a boat with the writing Neno e Vera with the Celtic green and white colours saying Celtic Pride.
