A teaser trailer for the upcoming ninth season of The Bachelor was released on Thursday night and many fans were not impressed.
The promo shows incoming bachelor, 31-year-old pilot Jimmy Nicholson, walking through an airport before taking off in a ‘BachAir’ plane with a bouquet of roses in the seat next to him.
Viewers branded the footage as ‘unrealistic’, pointing out that Jimmy was not sitting in the correct pilot seat and no one was wearing masks in the airport.

‘He’s not even in the correct seat,’ said one user.
‘Where are the masks in the airport?’ questioned another.
One fan joked, ‘wish they showed me at the airport running to the Jetstar terminal with 2 minutes until take off’.
Others pointed out the video was ‘underwhelming’ and even ‘depressing’.
In the clip, the new Bachelor then approaches the airplane from the runway as host Osher Günsberg hands him a bouquet of red roses.
‘Fasten your seatbelts Jimmy, you’re in for the ride of your life,’ Osher says before Jimmy boards the plane.
The WA-based pilot then takes off in a plane with the label ‘BachAir’ as he flies across the country and rose petals glisten across the sky.

A caption accompanying the clip said: ‘First Officer Jimmy is looking for the love of his life. The Bachelor Australia, coming soon to 10.’
While some were not that taken with the promo, others were thrilled by it.
Former Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise star Alisia Aitken-Radburn enthusiastically wrote, ‘SO GOOOOOD!!!’
‘HOW GREAT IS THIS!? best intro yet I reckon…really pulls the heart strings,’ mentioned Life Uncut podcast host Brittany Hockley.
‘I’m all about it,’ commented a follower.
The new season of The Bachelor will air later this year on Channel 10.
