And now, Kate Spencer had even bigger news to share with her family and friends as she revealed she got engaged to her professional boxer boyfriend Paul Walker.
The 29-year-old Coronation Street star took to Instagram on Sunday to share the good news.

Uploading a series of teasing messages on her story, Kate wrote: ‘3 years ago he asked me what my perfect day consisted of.
‘I said: “Get up early, train in the morning, some time to chill by myself, good food, good coffee, and do something theatre/acting related.
‘Yesterday, we went to the gym, had great coffee, learnt some lines for Corrie, went on a little walk, went to a pub, played backgammon, made tiramisu and ate steak.
‘It was perfect. And then this happened.’

Finally announcing the engagement, Kate then uploaded a beaming selfie of herself holding up a ring on her finger as she hugged Paul tightly.
Kate also uploaded a series of photographs onto her Instagram account which photo documented the day that Paul proposed to her.
Included amongst the images was one of the two of them lovingly embracing in a picturesque garden, with Kate’s engagement ring on display.
Then, a series of photographs showed Kate’s excitement to be engaged as she held a bowl of tiramisu and a coffee.

Although she is beaming in the first image, she struggles to contain her emotions and has to cover her face with a hand to deal with her excitement.
Kate also shared a screengrab from the moment she announced the engagement to her family on a Zoom video call.
She can be seen proudly holding up her hand, with her engagement ring prominently on display.
A final image, uploaded to her Instagram story, read: ‘I b****y love you. (And I’m super thankful you swiped right.’

Penning an emotional caption for her collection of images on Instagram, Kate wrote: ‘After the Tomahawk steak, before the Tiramisu, and with a coffee in hand, he turned me into an absolute blubbering mess.
‘A million times over, completely and utterly yes.’
The engagement news comes after Grace revealed she’s been working part-time as an estate agent during lockdown.
The actress, who returned to her role as Grace Vickers last year following a break from the soap, shared the news with fans as she marked her final day in job during a touching Twitter post.

Kate added that she decided to train up for a new vocation to gain some ‘regularity’ in her life, after being left out of work when she left Corrie during lockdown.
In her Instagram post, Kate was dressed in chic office attire as she posed outside her offices with flowers in hand.
Revealing the job she’d taken on in lockdown, she wrote: ‘Today was my last day at the part-time job I did during lockdown.

Last year Kate returned to Corrie reprise her role as Grace, heading back to the cobbles to reveal that she was pregnant with Michael Bailey’s child.
Her character had fled the street earlier in 2020 after it was revealed she’d committed paternity fraud by claiming Michael was the father of her daughter Tianna, when in reality she was just the child’s nanny.
