Michelle Keegan has documented how she bonded with a squirrel, revealing that she’s ‘at her happiest’ when she’s with animals.
The actress took to Instagram on Thursday to share a reel with fans, which showed how she got the animal to warm to her, saying: ‘Let’s just say we bonded.’
The 34-year-old couldn’t keep the smile off of her face as she enticed the squirrel with nuts – and the end of the video, the rodent could be seen actually eating off of her leg.

‘I kept going back everyday to feed her nuts, let’s just say we bonded. I’m at my happiest when I’m with animals,’ she wrote on Instagram.
The brunette beauty picked Fleetwood’s Mac Everywhere to soundtrack the reel – a clip of her looking up into the tree was accompanied by the lyric ‘can you hear me calling out your name’.
The Our Girl star looked glowing in a double denim outfit, black sunglasses and a crossbody bag to complement her look.

The sweet reel comes after it was recently revealed that Michelle and husband Mark Wright have been given the go ahead to build a luxury 60 square foot detached extension onto their Essex mansion.
The celebrity couple, both 34, re-submitted drawings to Epping Forest District Council with their plans, which reveal that the annexe will have an ensuite bedroom, a cloakroom, kitchen, dining area and sitting area.
It is understood that the 60 sq ft annexe – which is bigger than the average London flat – will be used by the couple’s parents when they come to visit their dream home, which is in the process of being built.
The former TOWIE star and former Coronation Street actress purchased the original property together for £1.3million in October 2019.
Meanwhile, Michelle and her husband Mark Wright’s dream home in Essex is in the process of being built and will come complete with five bedrooms (mocked up, computer image)
