Big Brother’s Sophie Budack reveals she was the victim of a robbery

Big Brother Australia star Sophie Budack has revealed that her van was robbed just days before the reality star planned to travel through Europe.  

The reality star, who permanently resides in The Netherlands, detailed the crime on her Instagram stories. 

‘A really crappy start to the day. I was just driving fat pat to go and get some things for our trip and I noticed that my reversing camera was gone,’ she explained. 

‘It has been aggressively taken off so the first thing I thought was that I had been broken into and I said could you go check if the tools are missing,’ she added. 

Sophie said thieves often break into vans in her area to steal tools. 

‘They have taken all the tools and taken a few other things around here and left the place in a mess,’ she said. 

She went on to say that the thief had taken a ‘big fat sh*t’ in her toilet, which she joked was the icing on the cake’ of the incident. 

Sophie went on to say that she made a police report for the insurance, but authorities can’t do anything if there is no blood or DNA at the crime scene. 

‘I did find where they broke in, but it doesn’t really matter,’ she said. ‘Insurance said they should be able to cover everything.’ 

The beauty will soon embark on her planned trip in ‘less than a week’. 

Sophie was a breakout star when she appeared on Big Brother last year. 

During her time on the show, she enjoyed a romantic relationship with male model Chad Hurst.  

Chad and Sophie were last spotted together enjoying a low-key beach date at Sydney’s Bondi Beach just two days after Chad won $230,000 in prize money.
