Today host Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine Yarborough move into their ‘modest’ three-bedroom home on Sydney’s Lower North Shore

Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic have finally moved into their new home in Castlecrag, on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.

The couple took ownership of the property just two days before Sydney was forced into lockdown on Saturday, reports Realestate.com.au.

The Today host, 46, and his shoe designer wife, 37, purchased the home in March for $3.2million after the house they’d been renting was sold for more than $8million.

The house, which the pair are expected to renovate, boasts views over Castlecrag’s north escarpment and is close to the village’s cafés and shops.

It includes a self-contained unit with a separate entry and its own bathroom.

They also own a holiday home on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, which they bought for $3.6million in January last year and travel to frequently.

Karl and Jasmine – along with their one-year-old daughter, Harper – divide their time between Sydney and Queensland.

The Yarborough family is based in the Sunshine State, while Karl also began his journalism career there.

The couple married in December 2018 in San José del Cabo, Mexico.

Karl previously rented a home in Sydney’s affluent harbourside suburb of Mosman for $3250-per-week.

He also constructed a waterfront mansion in Cremorne with his ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn.

The former couple paid a $800,000 deposit on the 650sqm block in June 2016 and later sold the property for  $9million following their split.
