Salma Hayek sizzled in a red Gucci sun dress as she soaked up the sun on a get away in St Tropez on Thursday. 

The actress, 54, looked beach ready as she took a stroll in the striking dress which fell just above her knees and billowed in the breeze.  

She paired the patterned garment with a chunky gold necklace and a black leather cross body bag which she carried over her shoulder.

The dress also had dark blue details and had two tassels which hung from her neck.  

Salma wore a protective face mask for the outing and appeared to have been doing a spot of shopping as the woman she was with carried some bags. 

Her brunette tresses flowed in a natural wave down her shoulder and back and she donned a pair of black sunglasses to shield her eyes from the sun.

The outing comes as last month Salma revealed she finds peace by finding time to meditate with her beloved Southern white-faced owl named Kering, who she rescued just two years ago.

While the Like A Boss star originally gifted the bird to her husband François-Henri Pinault for Valentine’s Day, her bond with their family pet has only grown. 

While speaking about her favorite self-care rituals and how to combat stress, she surprised fans by explaining she meditates with her ‘owl very, very often.’  

‘The minute I go deep into meditation, she stays super still,’ she told People in a new interview, released Monday. 

Fans of the actress, who has been very busy promoting her new film the Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, regularly shares photos of Kering sitting on her head or shoulders.

They also share meals, watch television on Hayek’s iPad, and sleeps in her room when her ‘husband is not in town.’

During a video interview for People’s 2021 Beautiful Issue, Hayek said she named Kering after her husband’s company because ‘their symbol’ is ‘of the owl.’

Even though the owl was a present for her man, she said he told her: ‘Thank you, but I know this is your own present for yourself.’ 

‘Just being in the same room [with her], there’s an energy to it, and it is mesmerizing,’ she added.  

‘Sometimes, when she is really close to me, I can feel her rubbing against me, which is really nice. And I feel so blessed,’ Hayek said.

The mother-of-one has previously introduced her social media followers to her love of animals with videos of her dogs and two parrots.

The animal lover has never been shy about expressing her fondness for adopting unsheltered pets. 

‘I have five horses, four alpacas, one cat, eight dogs, one hamster, five parrots, two fish, I’m sure I’m forgetting something!’ Salma said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October 2013.

‘You know this is like the Oscars you forgetting someone. Oh I forgot! I have bunny rabbits, I have turkeys, 20 chickens, same with the rabbits be careful just buy one.’

She added, ‘I don’t know something is in the air at my ranch, animals keep reproducing!’
