A$AP Rocky is seen walking in New York as romance with Rihanna continues to blossom

A$AP Rocky appeared to be in great spirits on Wednesday as he was snapped out in his native New York City amid his ongoing romance with Rihanna.

The rapper, 32, was clad in a white T-shirt with blue jeans and white sneakers, accessing with a necklace and a white and teal trucker hat that advertised his agency AWGE, on the summer day in Gotham.

The musical artist, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, smoked a cigarette as he smiled amid his walk in the city.

The RAF performer was seen days after he was out with girlfriend Rihanna, 33, on the city’s Lower East Side holding hands, while Rocky at one point swept the Umbrella singer off her feet and carried her, in a clip published on TMZ. 

A$AP Rocky opened up about the celeb romance in May while chatting with GQ, dubbing the Rude Boy songstress ‘the love of my life.’

Asked about the romance, he said it was ‘so much better’ being in a relationship adding that it’s ‘so much better when you got the one.

He continued: ‘She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones,’ adding, ‘I think when you know, you know. She’s the One.’

Over the holidays the couple was seen visiting Rihanna’s native Barbados, where A$AP Rocky’s father hails from.

The rapper, who called the trip akin to ‘a homecoming,’ said ‘it was crazy.’

He added, ‘I always imagined what it would be like for my dad, before he came to America. And I got to visit those places, and believe it or not, there was something nostalgic about it. It was foreign but familiar.’

A$AP Rocky told the outlet that the Grammy-winning stunner has ‘absolutely’ influenced him in his work: ‘I think it’s important to have somebody that you can bounce those creative juices and ideas off of … it’s just a different point of view.’

The pair had been initially linked in 2013 during a time when he was the opening act on her world tour in support of her Diamonds album.
