Marlon Wayans took to Instagram with a shot in which he posed with Paris Hilton, revealing that the socialite and her sister Nicky inspired his hit 2004 comedy White Chicks.

The actor-comedian, 48, posted a shot alongside Nicky at a Fox promotional event in Los Angeles for Tubi & TikTok Live Long-Form Reunion on Wednesday.

In the caption of the social media post, the New York City native alluded to how Paris and Nicky inspired the movie, which his brother Keenen Ivory Wayans directed. (The storyline of the movie saw Marlon and Shawn portraying undercover FBI agents who play a pair of white women in a kidnapping investigation.)

‘The original “white chick” and I… funny story one day my brother [and co-star Shawn Wayans] calls me at 3am saying “marlon we should play white chicks”… i replied “n****, you high?”

‘The next day he showed me a magazine with @parishilton and her sister on the cover and said we should play gurls like this. I immediately got it. They were so big and was the gateway to pop culture send up.’ 

Marlon said that he and his brother ‘did that film in good spirit to celebrate a special time in all of our lives.’

Marlon thanked both sisters ‘for being muses’ for the comedy film, which took in more than $113 million worldwide, adding, ‘When we do #whitechicks2 “let’s go shopping”‘

Nicky, 37, said she was ‘happy we could be a source of inspiration,’ adding, ‘White Chicks 2?

Marlon told People last fall that he ‘definitely’ could see making a sequel to the hit motion picture.

‘A good joke is when you can make the people you’re parodying laugh,’ he said. ‘Who loves White Chicks the most? White chicks. In this environment, in this climate, we all need something to laugh at about ourselves.’
