The Wiggles unveil their new children’s cooking set with recipes for the ‘perfect Wiggly baking experience’

The Wiggles have unveiled an exciting new baking box set for fans of the children’s group.

On Friday, the group posed for an Instagram photo on the kitchen set of their show, revealing the recipe book, mini utensils and colourful apron, which are all part of the set. 

‘To our Aussie followers, all the ingredients for a perfect Wiggly baking experience are here! Baking With The Wiggles Boxed Set!’ they wrote in the caption.

‘Recipes for the whole family to enjoy plus a child’s apron, spatula and whisk,’ they added.

Fans were thrilled about the new release, including one mother who wrote: ‘My husband bought this for my daughter last week, we have been baking up a storm.’ 

Another follower added: ‘I so want one of those aprons!!’

The announcement comes after The Wiggles starred in a series of cheeky Uber Eats ad with British music executive Simon Cowell, who makes his debut as the Grey Wiggle.

Simon also has a run-in with Henry the Octopus, deadpanning that he wants ‘calamari’ for dinner.

In another ad, Simon ‘redecorates’ The Wiggles home in all grey, saying he was living in a ‘technicolour nightmare’.

One ad has the group singing to Simon about what they’re having for dinner, delivered by Uber Eats, as he complained in his trademark grumpy voice, ‘Congratulations. I now hate music.’

Simon admitted he thought it was a joke when he was first offered the gig.

‘I thought I was being wound up when they said (the campaign) was me and The Wiggles because I know who they are, obviously,’ he told The Herald Sun.

‘It’s a crazy combination of me and them and it worked out great.’

He added: ‘I’ll get to know them more now because I’ve got a son who’s seven years old. I really respect what The Wiggles have achieved.’
