The Voice Australia FIRST LOOK: Mick ‘The Mower Man’ Harrington gets a standing ovation from all four judges – but it’s his decision afterwards that has Rita Ora and Jessica Mauboy in tears

Channel Seven have just unveiled a trailer for The Voice Australia’s Blind Auditions.

Mick ‘The Mower Man’ Harrington from country Victoria, commands attention as he receives a standing ovation from all four judges with his rendition of Judy Garland’s Somewhere Over The Rainbow.

However it’s his proposal to girlfriend Bec on stage straight afterwards, in front of their two young daughters, that has judges Rita Ora and Jessica Mauboy in tears.

The beginning of the trailer sees Mick, who owns a lawn mowing and gardening business, mowing the lawn of a backyard.

‘I’m Mick Harrington. I own my own lawn mowing, gardening business. I work hard every day for my children and for my beautiful partner,’ he says on camera.

Footage then sees the devoted family man heading to The Voice Australia stage, along with partner Bec and their daughters, as he realises ‘the potential’ the show has in changing his life.
