Emily Carey and Milly Alcock react to being cast in the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon

On Tuesday, Get Even star Emily Carey and Reckoning star Milly Alcock reacted to being cast in HBO’s House of the Dragon, which is set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones.

The British 18-year-old will portray the younger Alicent Hightower, who’s described as ‘the most comely woman in the Seven Kingdoms.’

‘Alicent, the daughter of Otto Hightower, was raised in the Red Keep, close to the king and his innermost circle; she possesses both a courtly grace and a keen political acumen.’

Emily – who got her start at age nine on the West End – took to Instagram Live to express her elation while sipping on a to-go beverage from McDonald’s.

‘My brain is fried. It’s just insane,’ Carey – who boasts 192K social media followers – marveled.

‘I auditioned. It was a fairly long audition process and I didn’t know what the project was or the character was until I got it.

‘I can’t answer any questions or who I’ll be in scenes with but stay tuned for more and I love you and have a great Tuesday!’

As of 2019, Alcock was still living with her parents in Sydney, having just graduated from the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts.
