Janet Street-Porter threw some major shade at co-star Penny Lancaster during Tuesday’s Loose Women, leaving viewers stunned.
The Loose Women ladies were involved in a very heated debate about Prime Minister Boris Johnson‘s plans to reopen the country on July 19th, with Denise Welch being particularly vocal about her the proposed changes.
However, Janet, 74, then made a shock dig about Penny, 50, as she tried to get her own point across, quipping: ‘Darling, you’re not Penny Lancaster so I’d like to get a word in!’

The intentional swipe at Penny came as Denise, 63, expressed her dismay at not being able to visit her poorly dad after he was moved to a small community hospital despite them both being ‘double jabbed’.
The frustrated star then went onto give an impassioned speech about the government’s ‘double standards’, before Janet interrupted to try and give her own argument.
Throwing shade at their co-star, she shouted: ‘Darling, you’re not Penny Lancaster, so I would like to get a word in!’ leaving Denise shocked.
Oh dear! Janet then made a shock dig about Penny as she tried to get her own point across, quipping: ‘Darling, you’re not Penny Lancaster so I’d like to get a word in!’
And while the panel were quick to brush aside from the comment and move on, viewers at home rushed to comment on the brutal jibe, with one remarking that the two ladies won’t be working with each other for some time.

Janet’s words come after she and Penny clashed on the show last week during a debate about whether people should put that they are mothers on their CV.
While Penny argued that women should state being a mother as a job, Janet argued that it may discriminated those women who do not have children.
Trying to argue her point, the broadcaster snapped: ‘Penny, if I can get a word in I’m saying!’
As the women continued to try and get their points across, Janet said: ‘Penny is just going to talk no matter what I say’, with Rod Stewart’s wife abruptly hitting back: ‘Yes, I will!’

Exasperated by it all, Janet then said moaned: ‘This is ridiculous. In a debate, Penny, two people speak and generally one after the other that get equal time. Not one person puts their point of view and I have to just shut up.’
With Penny then making her own dig at Janet, responding: ‘That’s never the case with you, Janet.’
