Diddy recalls waking up with ‘ 15 ROACHES on his face’ as a kid… as he reflects on his dream life

He’s been one of music’s biggest names since the 90s.

But Diddy reflected on his more humble days while showing off the spoils of his success in a strange new social media video posted on Tuesday.

The rapper/music mogul, 51, told followers how living in a roach-infested house as a kid made him determined to make it big, all as he indulged in fresh mango and relaxed by his infinity pool.

Explaining his rags to riches story in the caption, the rapper formerly known as Puff Daddy wrote: ‘One day when I was growing up, I woke up and there was 15 roaches on my face.

‘At that moment I said hell no, I refuse to live like this. Work hard, believe in your crazy dreams… AND NEVER SETTLE! #LOVE.’

He continued the aspirational message in the video, which was set near his pool overlooking the ocean.

‘You could do it,’ Diddy – who is reportedly worth $885million – said between juicy bites of fruit.

‘You could be whoever you want. You could be eating mango too, with the ocean as your backdrop,’ he went on.

His motivational message, however, was quickly overshadowed by the shocking cockroach anecdote.

‘When Diddy mom find out he on the internet lying,’ one wrote along with an underwhelmed image of sports anchor Stephen A. Smith.

Still, Diddy’s success is nothing to laugh at.

‘And I remember she had multiple aspirations, always hearing about her dreams and things she did in the past and things she wanted to do.’
