‘A bone fragment from a bike accident 30 odd years ago was floating around, but also kept on growing and lodged itself just next to the ITB and caused inflammation and pain all the way to my glut (or my right bum cheek if you prefer),’ he added.

Manu said his doctor took the fragment ‘out’, providing instant relief to the chef who was happy he could now get back into his boxing regime.

The post featured three images, two of Feildel’s patched-up leg and one of a bloody bone fragment sealed in a plastic container.

The lovable Frenchman recently revealed in the Sydney Morning Herald that he would be happy to make a return to the show if it underwent a complete overhaul.
