A British woman has been advised to ‘leave her boyfriend’ after he made her a cup of tea that ‘looks like it was made with chicken stock’.
The anonymous woman shared a photo of a very weak cuppa in a black mug to the Casual UK subreddit last week, causing thousands of Brits to share their disgust.
Looking more like a can of soup than and English brew, the picture shows a light liquid with foam around the outside, which outraged thousands of Brits who called for the woman to ‘make her boyfriend write lines’ while others went as far to say it was ‘a declaration of war’.

‘Is he ok? He appears to have given up on life,’ said one, to which the original poster replied: ‘Lockdown has funny effects on some people’.
‘Did he make it from the cold tap? Did he reuse an old tea bag from the bin? I literally don’t understand how it’s possible to make tea that weak,’ asked another.
‘My girlfriend’s mum makes tea to this specification. It hurts me to make it every time. I have actually given her cups of hot water and milk and she hasn’t noticed,’ confessed one user.
