Yolanda Hadid shares extra precious snap of her granddaughter Khai meditating at her crystal garden

Yolanda Hadid is passing down her love for meditation to her granddaughter Khai.

The former model, 57, posted an extra precious snap of her ‘morning meditation’ with Khai on her Instagram on Wednesday.

In the adorable image, the 10-month-old sat serenely before a crystal garden at her grandmother’s Pennsylvania farm.   

Though her face was out of view, the youngster looked peaceful as she sat still before the display with a blue rock in hand.

‘Morning meditation with Oma…… #Khai,’ Yolanda captioned the photo with a heart emoji.

Yolanda, who suffers from Lyme disease, recently said yoga and meditation have contributed in keeping many of her chronic symptoms at bay and have become a daily part of her routine. 

‘My life is far from perfect, but I try to keep things in balance. I make sure to get enough sleep, eat organic food as much as possible, I practise yoga and meditate every day,’ she told Vogue earlier this year. 

‘I also sleep with a wearable device called the “Wave 1” by FREmedica. It communicates with your cells through LED light for wellness management. The combination of all these things has me currently living without most of my chronic symptoms. The emotional and spiritual part of healing is equally as important as the medical diagnosis.’ 

Yolanda became a grandmother last year after her eldest daughter Gigi Hadid welcomed daughter Khai with boyfriend Zayn Malik.   

On Gigi’s birthday in April Yolanda gushed on Instagram that becoming a grandmother ‘awoke a part in my heart I never knew existed.’

She also shared that her love for her granddaughter helped her ‘get by’ after losing her own mother Ans Van Den Herik in 2019.

In January, TMZ reported that Khai was named in honor of Gigi’s paternal grandmother Khairiah, who died in 2008.

Last April after news spread that Gigi was expecting Yolanda told the Dutch talk show RTL Boulevard: ‘I can’t wait to become a grandmother.’

She noted: ‘It is even more special, since I lost my own mother so recently. That is the beauty of life: one soul is leaving us and a new one is coming.’
