Hamish Blake and Zoë have moved to a rental during renovations at their $8.925million Vaucluse home

Zoë Foster Blake and her husband Hamish Blake moved recently bought a $8.925million house in Sydney’s affluent eastern suburbs. 

Renovations have been underway since June, and on Friday, Hamish revealed that the family are staying at a rental property. 

‘I am living in a rental with my family at the moment because our house is being renovated,’ Hamish, 39, said in an Instagram Stories video. 

He then pointed out that the rented house was decorated with a spoon motif, including a picture of the implement on the wall behind him.   

In other videos, he revealed that it was baking night at the home, as he whipped up a cake for his wife and kids.  

The pair were on site for a meeting between the architect and contractors who are renovating their house in June. 

The Blakes recently moved with their children from Melbourne to Sydney.   

Before the big move, Hamish had announced on social media: ‘Exciting times ahead: we are moving to Sydney baby!’

The couple are now are the proud owners of an $8.925 million on a property in the upmarket suburb of Vaucluse following their Melbourne move.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom estate measures 885sqm and features two sets of garages.

The four-level home does not have ocean or harbour views, but, as it was designed by Neil Architecture, it appeared on Grand Designs Australia in 2013.

Zoë and Blake, who have been married since 2012, share children Sonny, six, and Rudy, three, together.
