Mindy Kaling received an apology from Stephen Colbert on The Late Show Wednesday, after he accidentally walked in when she was changing.
Colbert, 57, said, ‘Now I’d also like to apologize for earlier,’ to which the Cambridge, Massachusetts native, 42, responded, ‘I didn’t know you were gonna bring it up and I felt bad bringing this up.’
Colbert said in response, ‘I thought you were gonna bring it up because it would make me feel bad.’

Colbert said he broke routine in chatting with the guest before the show, as he usually approaches the guests in the wings area of the stage.
‘I don’t usually do this … but I thought I would just go, “Hey, have a great show” so I popped the door open,’ the CBS host said. ‘I knocked, but I did that knock and pop at the same time.’
