Beauty and the Geek’s Lachlan Mansell, 32, reveals he is still a virgin

Beauty and the Geek star Lachlan Mansell has won hearts around Australia with his genuine personality on the reality dating show. 

And on Monday, the 32-year-old Motorsports commentator admitted on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show that he was still a virgin. 

The admission came as Kyle quizzed Lachlan on his sexual past, awkwardly asking straight out if he has kept his virginity before applying for the show. 

‘So, I can’t recall the virginity. You’ve lost that or you’re holding onto that?’ Kyle asked in a gentle way. 

‘I’m waiting for the right person,’ Lachlan replied.   

Kyle and Jackie O both commended Lachlan on his choice, saying singer Guy Sebastian also spoke of publicly waiting for the right person. 

Lachlan also spoke of his connection with beauty Josie Werner. However, he revealed he bonded most with Keira Johnstone. 

‘I think as the show progresses you’ll see the bond between Keira and me evolves really beautifully,’ he explained. 

Kyle asked if he will see Lachlan and Keira have a physical connection, but he laughed off the question, insisting the show was more about ‘confidence’ building.   

During Beauty and the Geek last week, Lachlan said he has learnt to expect more from dates after spending time with suitor, Josie.

Choking up while slow dancing with Josie, he said: ‘I’ve tried to be nice and I’ve put a lot of effort in and they haven’t shown the appreciation.’

Josie was clearly upset as Lachlan explained how he had been used by girls in the past who treated him with no respect.  

It just makes me really upset to hear how a lot of girls have taken advantage of how kind he is,’ Josie said of her suitor.

‘He’s so special. He has so much to offer.’
