Ryan Reynolds ‘begged’ his now second wife Blake Lively to ‘sleep with’ him after playing love interests in Martin Campbell’s dismally-reviewed movie, Green Lantern.

‘I met Blake [in 2010] on the darkest crease in the anus of the universe called Green Lantern,’ the 44-year-old Grammy nominee told SmartLess podcast on Monday.

‘A week later I was like, “We should buy a house together,”‘ the wisecracking Canadian said. ‘And we did.’

The acting couple went on to have three daughters – James, 6; Inez, 4; and Betty, 21 months – and they’ll celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary on September 9.
