Inside Kyle Sandilands’ 50th birthday bash: KIIS host reveals what REALLY happened at his party

Kyle Sandilands celebrated his milestone 50th birthday in style last month. 

And now the KIIS FM star has revealed what really went down at the bash, which was held on a superyacht on Sydney Harbour. 

The shock jock appeared on Will and Woody this week, and said his family from North Queensland ‘got lit’ with fellow star guests at the event. 

He added that he thought singer Samantha Jade was only going to perform one or two songs, but she turned her performance into a ‘mini concert’.

‘Guy [Sebastian] was there, Samantha Jade sang… eight songs later I was thinking “okay, this is a full concert”. She had dancers,’ Kyle said. 

He hilariously said that one of his family members confused Samantha Jade for Kylie Minogue.  

‘Aunty Pauline was like, “I can’t believe you got Kylie Minogue to sing at your birthday!”’ he exclaimed.

He added that his family from far North Queensland were ‘quite well-behaved’ and ‘had all their best clothes on’ as they mingled with his celebrity guests.  

Kyle celebrated his big 50th birthday with a night to remember on Sydney Harbour last month. 

Guests included his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, Beau Ryan, Guy Sebastian and Samantha Jade. 

Kyle even made a dramatic and epic entrance to the party, turning up alongside girlfriend Tegan Kynaston in a private speedboat and jumping on board. 

Also at the bash were the likes of Kyle and Jackie O newsreader Brooklyn Ross and Kyle’s manager and good friend, Bruno Bouchet.

The shock jock was presented with a lavish three-tiered ‘King Kyle’ cake as he joined guests onboard.

Behind the cake was also an eye-catching gold balloon display and light numbers displaying the big ’50’.
