Jimmy Nicholson’s ‘amazing’ family home on The Bachelor sets social media alight

Jimmy Nicholson made his debut as The Bachelor on Wednesday night.

And while fans were certainly impressed by the handsome pilot, many eagle-eyed viewers couldn’t help but notice how stunning his parents’ home was.

As the episode aired, Jimmy is seen in his family home, preparing a barbecue on a scenic outdoor deck with his dad, before having a wine with his mum in a spacious, beautifully designed kitchen. 

As a result, fans swarmed to social media to comment on the luxurious setting, with one writing: ‘Jimmy’s house is nicer than the mansion.’   

‘I’d marry him for this house alone,’ a second tweeted.

‘After his parents house, the Bachie mansion is like dropping from first class to a middle seat in economy,’ another added.  

Meanwhile, some were disheartened by Jimmy’s well-to-do upbringing.

‘Can we get a bachie that grew up in houso, parents are Defacto and are broke,’ one wrote on Twitter. 

Another even suggested that his family’s beachside property was too picture-perfect.

‘He lives in Summer Bay??? Could this BE more scripted?’ the fan wrote.

This year, production of The Bachelor moved to a $6.3million mansion in Oxford Falls.

The home which is located on five acres of land, features a stunning living room with a fireplace, an indoor swimming pool and spa area.
