The Prince of Wales, 72, and the Duchess of Cornwall, who turned 74 on Saturday, were seen greeting well-wishers as they arrived to view an exhibition of archive photographs by local photographer James Ravilious from the Beaford Archives on the final day of their tour of the South West.
Following their visit to the exhibition, they attended a gathering of the town’s community groups and young people in the nearby Victoria Park.
Camilla, who wore her white blonde-hair carefully coiffed, cut a cool figure in a light blue linen zip dress adorned with white polka dots and dark sunglasses, while Prince Charles dressed for the heatwave in a smart beige suit.

The Duchess of Cornwall teamed her below-the-knee dress with tan-coloured heels for the outing and completed her elegant ensemble with simple silver jewellery and drop earrings.
The royal was also seen holding a chic umbrella to protect her from the sun’s powerful rays, which are expected to hit highs of 90F across parts of England this afternoon.
On Tuesday, Prince Charles and Camilla appeared in good spirits as they visited a primary school on St Mary’s in the Isles of Scilly in Cornwall, hours after Prince Harry’s shock memoir announcement.
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall once again went mask free as they spoke with adults and children during their stop at Five Islands Academy School for an Eco Conference.
Charles kept his feelings about Harry’s bombshell book deal hidden as he cracked a joke and laughed with members of the public on the second day of his three-day tour of the South West with Camilla.

Following their visit to the school, the royal couple headed to Porthcressa Quay where they spoke with key workers involved in community support during the pandemic. They also met local business owners who have been affected by lockdown.
Charles and Camilla then made their way to Porthcressa Beach where they strolled along the picturesque sands and spoke with a crowd of well-wishers.
This comes as the Duke of Sussex’s $20million Megxit memoir was branded a ‘moneymaking exercise at the expense of his blood family’ by royal experts and insiders who predicted it would be ‘a book by Harry, as written by Meghan.’

The Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William are said to have been completely blindsided by Harry’s shock announcement that he has been secretly working on his as yet untitled memoirs with Pulitzer-winning ghostwriter J. R. Moehringer for a year, with a release date of late 2022, according to publisher Penguin Random House.
In a statement Harry said: ‘I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become’ – but one royal insider responded tartly: ‘A book by Harry, as written by Meghan.’
Prince Harry didn’t feel he needed permission from Buckingham Palace to write the memoir, his spokesman declared today.
The Sussexes’ spokesman told the BBC that Harry would not be expected to obtain permission for the project from Buckingham Palace – but it is not yet clear if royal officials will get to see the finished book before its release in late 2022 by publisher Penguin Random House. MailOnline has asked Harry’s LA team to comment.

On Monday, Prince Charles and Camilla visited several sites in Devon, beginning in Exeter to celebrate it becoming a UNESCO City of Liter.
As Charles is patron of the Exeter Cathedral Development appeal, the place of worship was the first stop on their list, followed by Devon Wildlife Trust, Exeter City Community Trust and the Met Office.
Inside Charles and Camilla learned about the restoration of the grand building before meeting community groups that work closely with the prince’s passion for the environment.
Following their visit to the cathedral, the couple made their way to Exeter’s new bus station where they met with transport workers, council leaders and ‘Net Zero Heroes’ involved in Exeter City Council’s ambition to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030.
Charles unveiled a plaque to commemorate his visit, and was treated to a tour of a restored vintage bus from 1961 and Stagecoach’s latest model by veteran bus driver Mike Prowse.
