Gael García Bernal and partner Fernanda Aragonés are expecting their first child together

He stars in the new M. Night Shyamalan movie Old.

And at the film’s premiere in New York City, Gael García Bernal proudly posed with partner Fernanda Aragonés as the couple confirmed they’re expecting their first child together.

The former model cradled her growing baby bump as she accompanied the Mexican actor to the screening held at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Monday night.

The baby will be 42-year-old Bernal’s third child; he shares son Lázaro, 12, and daughter Libertad, 10, with his former partner Dolores Fonzi.

Aragonés also has a daughter, Emilia, 12, from her marriage to restaurateur Alex Esparza.  

She told L’Beauté earlier this month that she’s happy to be embracing motherhood again. 

‘It is fun,’ she said. ‘I let 12 years (approximately) pass between my first pregnancy and my second. Getting pregnant again reaffirms me. 

‘I am totally another person than I was at 23, and even more so, above all, emotionally.’Aragonés

The biopic follows the true story of Saúl Armendáriz, a gay amateur wrestler from El Paso, Texas, who rose to international stardom thanks to his ‘exotico’ alter ego.

He started training in the lucha libre style of wrestling when he was just 15 and became the first ‘exotico’ character to win the Ultimate Wrestling Alliance (UWA) championship in 1992.
