And Paul Cattermole looked unrecognisable from his pop star heyday as he took to Instagram to show off his long greying beard and ponytail on Wednesday.
‘Genie Hair #nofilter,’ the singer joked as he flipped his long tresses toward the camera for the selfie.

Paul posed for the camera in his garden wearing a pair of blue reflective sunglasses as he made the most of the UK heatwave.
Fans were quick to compliment Paul on his appearance, telling him he suited his new look and showing their support for the star.
S Club 7 – formed of Paul, Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Rachel Stevens and Tina Barrett – shot to fame after releasing their anthem Bring It All Back in 1999.

They went on to record four studio albums, release 11 singles and sell over 10 million albums worldwide.
Yet in 2002, Paul sent shockwaves through the group’s global fanbase when he spectacularly announced he was quitting the band citing ‘creative differences’.
The group rebranded as just S Club and vowed to continue making music, but split the following year.
Paul has kept a relatively low-profile in recent years, but made an emotional appearance on the dating show First Dates Hotel in 2019.
The former singer went on a date with music lover Anna but after being let down gently, sobbed on camera and asked for a ‘moment’ to pull himself together.
During the date, Paul, who has previously claimed he was contractually forced to date fellow bandmate Hannah during the height of their fame in the noughties, reminisced about his days as a pop star.
Paul told Anna: ‘I don’t tend to bring up on a date that I have been in a pop group. It’s not the thing I want to shout about.

‘I ended up being in the group for six years. I did leave before the end, I was feeling like I was losing myself and I wasn’t very happy at all.
‘I had the balls to say, “guys I’ve got to go,” but not one of them said “stay”.’
Paul went to on to make an epic blunder on the date by dredging up his past relationship with Hannah.
Talking about his ex, he told Anna: ‘I was seeing a member of the pop group – Hannah, there was nothing natural about it.
‘Lovely person, but not at all did I think this was going to lead to… I think because of the lifestyle at work.’
Oops: Paul made the mistake of bringing up his former flame and bandmate Hannah, which put his date off him (pictured together in 2005)
And it seemed Paul’s talking of exes discouraged Anna from wanting to pursue anything romantically.
Letting him down gently, she told the singer: ‘I feel like we have so much in common.
‘I had a really lovely time. But I do think it would be good if you were more confident, I think you’re a lovely person and the industry has beaten you around a bit.’
She added: ‘You were apologising for yourself when you hadn’t even done anything.’
Reflecting on the feedback, Paul choked up about his lack on confidence: ‘I’ve been told that a lot. I’ve made so many wrong choices.’
Unhappy: Paul has previously claimed his relationship with Hannah didn’t happen organically and was ‘written into their TV contracts’ (pictured in 2004)
