Madonna evokes her country western-inspired Don’t Tell Me getup with new selfies in denim overalls and an artsy straw hat for the Jewish festival Tu B’av

She is a famous devotee of the mystical sect of Judaism known as Kabbalah.

And Madonna took to her Instagram on the occasion of a somewhat esoteric holiday within the Jewish faith on Saturday, known as Tu b’Av, which translates to the 16th day of the Hebrew lunar calendar month Av.

The Queen of Pop, 62, shared a gallery of arresting selfies in which she sported a wide brimmed distressed purple straw hat.

Underneath, her Madgesty wore a tight-fitting sleeveless gray blouse.

She had her habitual multitude of necklaces layered above her breasts.

Madonna also wore brown suede cowboy boots.

Her outfit called to mind another country western-inspired look, specifically the one she wore for her brilliant 2000 music video for Don’t Tell Me, off of her studio album Music.

Madonna first became involved in Kabbalah in New York City in the late 1990s, after the birth of her first child Lourdes.

For many years after, she was a fixture at the Kabbalah Center in the city, also infusing songs on her albums Ray Of Light, Music and Confessions On A Dance Floor with references to Jewish mysticism and beyond.
