‘I thought the scars on both my hands were literally part of the human anatomy,’ she added.

Tammy first made the startling revelation in a YouTube video titled ’10 things you don’t know about me’ back in January 2018.

She said: ‘I was actually born with two extra fingers’ and added that her two extra fingers were ‘chopped off’ soon after she was born.

Scars: In 2018, Tammy revealed she was 'born with two extra fingers' and added that her extra fingers were 'chopped off' soon after she was born. She explained the additional digits were attached to her little fingers on each hand and had nails - but were completely boneless

She also noted the mutation ‘runs in her family’, with her older sisters Emilee and Amy, as well as their mother and grandmother born with extra fingers.

However, Tammy’s children with ex-fiancé Reece Hawkins – son Wolf, five, and daughter Saskia, four – were not born with the mutation.

What is Polydactyly?

Polydactyly is the condition which results in people having extra fingers or toes.

The extra digit is usually a piece of soft tissue that can be easily removed.

Occasionally it contains bones, but the excess finger(s) is rarely functioning.

The condition affects only a small portion of the population, and is believed to be inherited from a dominant gene, or can be a syndrome.

Famous people with the condition include comedian Drew Carey and American baseball player Antonio Alfonseca
