Miley Cyrus says Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia perfume reminds her of late ‘Mammie’ Loretta Finley

Grammy nominee Miley Cyrus currently fronts Gucci Beauty’s Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum, which reminds her of her late ‘Mammie’ Loretta Finley.

The 28-year-old pop star’s maternal grandmother and former fan club president sadly passed away, age 85, nearly a year ago.

‘Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia makes me think of my grandmother who always smelt of fresh cut flowers,’ Cyrus – who boasts 261.3M social media followers – wrote Wednesday.  

‘When I stop to smell them it’s like I’m with her. It’s the greatest gift.’

Miley (born Destiny) was only eight when her paternal grandmother Ruth Ann Casto passed away, age 63, in 2000 – according to Ancestry.com.

The Italian luxury fashion house signed the former Disney Channel star last month to front the perfume – which features notes of gardenia, jasmine, pear blossom, and brown sugar.

‘#FloraFantasy is being who you are,’ Cyrus wrote on June 18.

‘None of us are made with one ingredient. We all have different notes, some subtle and some bold. Just like Flora!’

Fans must be willing to shell out $138 for the 100ML bottle or $108 for the smaller 50ML bottle of Flora Gorgeous Gardenia.

Miley covered up in a purple blouse, embellished with pink sequins at the collar and cuffs, as well as beige-patterned pants for the campaign shot by Petra Collins.

Hairstylist Paul Hanlon coiffed the ‘gender-fluid’ millennial’s mullet and make-up artist Thomas de Kluyver brought out her natural beauty.

In the advert, Cyrus sang a track called Delicious, which was originally recorded in 1994 by former British duo Shampoo.

Miley posed by the beach and in a blooming garden alongside a white poodle, two white kittens, and a white bunny.

And Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele’s kawaii cuteness was added to by animation director Akihiko Ota, who oversaw the anime sequence.

‘I just recently became an aunt for the first time to my beautiful nephew named Bear [fathered by my younger brother Braison],’ the Without You singer updated People on Wednesday.

‘I am spending a lot of time with him, watching him grow, while I record my next record back home in Tennessee.’

Cyrus will next put her three-octave mezzo-soprano pipes to use headlining the sold-out music festival Lollapalooza this Thursday inside Chicago’s Grant Park.
