Keith Lemon hints pal Holly Willoughby is the tightest Celebrity Juice captain

Keith Lemon has cheekily teased that his Celebrity Juice friend Holly Willoughby is the tightest out of the show’s captains – and the most likely to raise a complaint.

The character, played by 48-year-old comic Leigh Francis, appeared on football pundit Chris Kamara’s new show – The Chris KaMOREa Podcast with Plusnet – when he made the funny revelation about the former team captain.

Holly, 40, last year quit the show after appearing on it for 12 years, and now Keith has dished the dirt on his former colleague.

‘Is Holly the tightest? I don’t know, she’s got lovely eyes’: Keith Lemon teased that pal Holly Willoughby is the tightest Celebrity Juice captain while on Chris Kamara’s new podcast

Keith was asked by Kamara which of the various team captains from the show was the tightest with their money.

Spilling the beans, Keith said: ‘Who is the tightest? Well, Laura Whitmore is very generous. For Christmas, I was after, you know, Baby Yoda from Mandalorian – and she got me one.

‘It got sent to her I think, because she sent me pictures saying ‘look what I just got’. So, I went ‘I’ll buy it off ya, I’ll buy it off ya,’ and she went ‘I’m gonna give you it for Christmas’. And that was so kind.

‘Fearne was very kind, she’d often get me something from Vivienne Westwood. Our relationship was always based on fashion, me and Fearne, all we’d talk about is clothes.

‘I’d often buy something that she wanted, or vice versa – even just like a lovely pair of socks from Vivienne Westwood.

‘Who is the tightest? Emily has just started making her money so I guess she didn’t have any money in the past… Is Holly the tightest? I don’t know, she’s got lovely eyes.’

Kamara then moved on to ask the Celebrity Juice host which of the captains was most likely to complain, to which Keith quickly responded with ‘Holly’.

He followed up his answer by explaining: ‘None of them complain. Do you know what? We have a lovely job, so I don’t think they complain.

‘Often Holly might say ‘Don’t do a long one tonight’, because you know me, I like to rattle on and talk quite a lot, so sometimes we can overrun.

‘But then she has to get off and go and do This Morning.’

Last year, Holly thanked Celebrity Juice for 12 years of ‘fantastic chaos’ after confirming her departure from the long-running show in a lengthy Instagram post.

Addressing fans, Holly insisted she only had happy memories from her time alongside Lemon, the alter-ego of comedian Leigh Francis.

‘Also a huge thank you to @itv2 for believing in the show in the first place and for all of your support…Over the years the production team has changed, however to anyone lucky enough to have worked on the show, they will know that we really do have the best time, it’s never felt like work and always been to me like a night out…

‘Thank you for all your ingenious ideas and hard work… all good things must come to an end and nothing lasts forever… It’s time for me to hand over my team captain seat to some lucky lucky person… whoever that is, know you are about to get one of the best jobs in telly working with one of comedies finest…’
