Summer is well underway.

And Sarah Michelle Gellar embraced the season with gusto, posting a mirror selfie to show off her sensational swimsuit body.

She slid her enviably slender figure into a sleek black one-piece and let her luxurious blonde hair tumble freely over her shoulders.

The I Know What You Did Last Summer star added a touch of dazzle to the look with earrings as well as a subtle shimmering necklace.

Sarah captioned with an unattributed quote: ‘No one is full of more false hope then a parent that brings a chair to the beach. Or a book.’

Her post attracted a slew of admiring remarks including from her old Buffy The Vampire Slayer co-star Emma Caulfield.

‘Dayum Gina. That suit!,’ gushed Emma in the comments section where Reese Witherspoon could also be spotted posting fire emoji.

Sarah shares her children Charlotte, 11, and Rocky, eight, with her smoldering husband Freddie Prinze Jr. whom she married in 2002.

Early this month she shared a sweet selfie with Freddie in Hawaii as they both gave off what she called ‘the peaceful look of two parents getting an actual vacation.’ 

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight she dished about introducing her children to Buffy The Vampire Slayer over the coronavirus lockdowns. 

‘My kids, up until the pandemic, hadn’t really seen anything that I had done except, I think they’d seen Scooby Doo,’ said she.

‘But during the pandemic, my daughter and my son started, and it was so interesting to watch their reactions,’ the mother of two noted.

Her observation was that while Rocky most enjoyed watching ‘the villains’ Charlotte was principally absorbed by ‘the love stories.’
