He has swapped the bright lights of Hollywood for the rolling hills of Kent.
And David Schwimmer was seen getting to work on his new advert for TSB Bank as he filmed in the English countryside and got behind the wheel of a VW Camper Van on Saturday.
The Friends actor, 53, who soared to fame playing Ross Gellar on the show, left locals feeling frustrated though because he left a lengthy traffic jam in his wake.

David could be seen wearing a look of glee on his face despite the long queues, as he pretended to drive the blue Camper Van while being towed by the film crew.
In the advert, the actor appeared to be struggling to figure out where he was going, as he eventually turned into a grassy field before getting out of the car.
Looking around him in confusion, David then checked his phone before his vehicle appeared to roll down the hill, a scene that was set up carefully by the crew.

David wrapped up warm for the advert as he donned a blue coat over a fleece jacket, and he wore a striped scarf around his neck.
He completed his look by wearing a pair of dark denim jeans and sturdy black boots that were perfect for traversing the fields.
During a break from filming, David was seen taking selfies on his phone as the crew set up another shot for the advert.

His appearance comes after David said the Friends reunion is ‘definitely’ happening. In July, the iconic actor pened up about the plans for the HBO Max special during an interview with Today’s Hoda Kotb and Nick Mohammed.
Schwimmer seemed surprised that Hoda even asked, telling the AM host: ‘There is definitely going to be a Friends reunion.
Plans are already in motion according to David, who said: ‘We have a lot of the creative aspects of the show [worked out.] It’s unscripted but there are going to be some surprise funny bits,’ he dished.
But there are still details to work out, namely how to keep everyone safe from the pandemic during production.

‘The real question is when,’ David said. ‘We’re still trying to figure that out because we want to do it when it’s safe for everyone.’
But he made it clear that all of the original cast was on board, telling the AM show: ‘It’s not a question.’
When it’s time to shoot Schwimmer will be joined by Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Leblanc and Matthew Perry as well as creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane.
Rumours have been swirling around the project since The Hollywood Reporter revealed that a reunion special with HBO Max was happening.
