Roy Keane has praised Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes‘ ‘arrogance’ after his fast start at the club after joining in January.

Fernandes joined United from Sporting Lisbon for £62million and has already made a positive impact in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side. The 25-year-old has not crumbled under the United curse that has seen the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Angel Di Maria and Radamel Falcao all not live up to their billing after joining the club. 

The former Manchester United captain applauded the Portuguese international for his attitude and performance levels.

‘We often talk about players taking time to settle at a club – it’s not taken him long has it?’ Roy Keane said to Sky Sports.

‘He seems a very good personality. It’s obviously a huge move for him, but he seems to be enjoying it. He’s got a little bit of arrogance about him.’

Fernandes was awarded with the Premier League Player of the Month award for February in his first full month with the Red Devils. 

He has scored three goals and got four assists from nine matches in all competitions for United and at the forefront of the ‘new look’ Manchester United side under Solskjaer’s reign.
