Julia Roberts dons scarf to walk her chocolate Lab Major in Malibu… ahead of Call to Unite event

Oscar winner Julia Roberts walked her beloved chocolate Labrador Retriever Major, who briefly went missing in 2017, around her $9.5M Point Dume hilltop estate in Malibu on Monday.

The Georgia-born 52-year-old donned a CDC-recommended COVID-19 face mask in the form of a green scarf around her neck and she wore a black long-sleeved top with blue skinny jeans and black booties.

Los Angeles County’s stay-at-home order was extended through May 15 due to the 19,567 confirmed coronavirus cases in LA, which has led to 916 deaths as of Sunday – according to Johns Hopkins University.  

Julia has been in quarantine with her second husband Danny Moder and their three children – twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 15; as well as son Henry, 12.

Roberts and the 51-year-old Emmy-nominated cinematographer – whom she met on the 2000 set of The Mexican – will celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary on the Fourth of July.

Last Saturday, the Pretty Woman alum posted that ‘quarantine is much easier’ watching cheery feel-good films that ‘still get me’ like 13 Going on 30 starring Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo as reunited childhood pals.

It was just two days after Ruffalo rang in the 16th anniversary of Gary Winick’s time-hopping rom-com, which amassed $96M at the global box office despite a middling 65% Rotten Tomatoes rating. 

Julia will next appear on the 24-hour global livestream event The Call to Unite – starting this Friday at 8pm EST – alongside Jennifer Garner, Oprah Winfrey, Rob Lowe, Alanis Morissette, Common, Eva Longoria, and more.
