Out and about: Alyson Hannigan, 49, took a break from quarantine as she stepped out to enjoy a meal with her husband Alexis Denisof, 54, at Boba Truck Cafe in Los Angeles on Monday

The American Pie star kept her look casual for the day as she also wore leopard print plimsolls along with a red and white cap.

Alexis, 54, also went for a laid-back look for the day, wearing a white T-shirt with blue jeans and a pair of sandals along with a mask.

Alyson and Alexis, who starred on Buffy The Vampire Slayer together during series three of the show, married in 2003. The couple are parents to daughters Satyana, 11, and Keeva, seven.

Alyson is well known for her role as Michelle in the American Pie film series, appearing in four films between 1999 and 2012.

But since becoming a mother, the star has reconsidered how she feels about some of the films’ iconic lines.

While appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show with co-star Eugene Levy, she revealed that people still come up to her repeating her famous line: ‘This one time at bandcamp…’

Alyson admitted her heart skips a beat, hoping the fans don’t utter the more lurid versions of the line.

She said: ‘I have two daughters now and when they’re with me and somebody starts saying the line, I’m like, “Can we just stop there?” I get really panicked. I’m like, “Yeah, yeah, I know what you’re talking about.”‘

But she’s definitely not ready to talk about the birds and bees with her girls, saying: ‘I don’t want to have that conversation with them yet!

‘Luckily, (fans) don’t finish the sentence, but I stand there terrified that they will.’
