Two mystery lottery millionaires are set to lose their £1million fortunes within hours of each other

Two mystery lottery millionaires who each won £1million in November could miss out on their windfalls as they have just days left to claim the cash prize

  • A ticket holder from Broxbourne won £1million on a EuroMillions draw last year
  • The other ticket, bought in Swindon, Wilts, won another million in a later draw
  • National Lottery said they were ‘desperate’ to unite holders with their winnings

A pair of lottery punters are set to lose their £1 million wins within hours of each other.

The mystery duo might want to use the lockdown to check their old tickets or they could end up penniless within 24 hours of each other.

One is a EuroMillions winner from a November draw – winning £1m on the UK MillionaireMaker – the only one of 25 millionaire winners in that special draw that day who has still to claim their prize.

The winning ticket was bought in the borough of Broxbourne in Herts and the punter only has until next Tuesday (May 6) to claim it or lose the cash to the good causes fund.

And a Lotto player who won £1m in another November draw is also set to lose the fortune on Wednesday (May 7) if they don’t come forward.

That player matched five balls and the bonus ball from the draw using numbers 2, 11, 21, 46, 51, 58 and the bonus 31.

That ticket was bought in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Senior winners’ advisor Andy Carter said: ‘We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

‘We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old Lotto tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.

‘Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.’
