Speaking live from her home in South West London, presenter Amanda told Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: ‘I think it’s great they found it, I think that’s fantastic but I’m just trying to work correlation between us knowing that we’ve had it and use being able to get out of lockdown.

‘For example I’m pretty sure I’ve had it, I’m pretty sure my husband’s had it, we haven’t been tested yet.

‘Even if we know we’ve had it, nobody is actually 100% said we’d get it again, we could still carry it that’s the thing I’m slightly concerned about.

‘If they come up with a vaccine I’d be cartwheeling down the street, but I’m not sure how having this information is going to help us get out of lockdown.’
