Jamie Laing pranks girlfriend Sophie Habboo by taping a ‘whistle if you think I’m hot’ sign on her back as they head out for lockdown stroll

Sophie Habboo fell subject to her boyfriend Jamie Laing’s mischievous ways on Thursday, as they headed out for a lockdown stroll in sunny London.

Prior to leaving the house, Jamie secretly filmed himself making a ‘whistle if you think I’m hot’ sign and told his followers: ‘This is how you find out if other people think your girlfriend is hot…’

He attached it to Habbs’ jacket and the pair headed out for their daily dose of exercise.

Habbs was none the wiser, sauntering along in front of Jamie, who whistled once or twice but without her cottoning on.

He then asked her: ‘Has anyone whistled at you while we’ve been out?’

‘No, why?’ she replied, before Jamie showed her the sign, leaving them both giggling.

This comes after the couple seemingly flouted lockdown rules after they returned to London from the Cotswolds having escaped the city to stay at Jamie’s family home.

On Saturday, the Made In Chelsea stars were walking hand in hand on Battersea Bridge in south-west London, suggesting they made non-essential travel.

Jamie, 31, was wearing a grey long-sleeved Patagonia t-shirt, shorts and a cap for the outing.

Meanwhile his girlfriend, 25, looked stylish in a denim style sports jersey, black shorts and sunglasses.

Jamie had previously revealed the pair had decamped 90 miles to the countryside at the start of the coronavirus outbreak.

It is unclear when the couple left but the Government issued advice on March 23 stating people should not visit second homes ‘for isolation purposes or holidays’, to stem the spread of the virus.

Making a guest appearance in Laura Whitmore’s Castaway podcast in April, Jamie joked he had already had ‘403 arguments’ with his mum and Sophie.

The reality star told Laura: ‘I’m currently in the countryside in the Cotswolds, so I decided when everything was kicking off and becoming a bit hectic I decided “right, I’ve got to get out of London because the thought of being in my one bedroom apartment in London” I was just like “I can’t do this”.

‘So my mum lives in the countryside so I went down to hers, living with her we’ve had about 400 arguments which is good.

‘I’m with my girlfriend as well. We’ve had about three arguments which isn’t that bad.

‘I’ve got my sister here, we’ve had one argument but, if all of my family go missing I promise you it’s not me.’

It appears life in the Cotswolds eventually took its toll as Jamie headed back to London, flouting guidance to stay in one place during lockdown.

The Government ordered Britons to only go outside for essentials such as buying food or medicine, exercising or going to work if it cannot be done at home.

Travelling between homes is not permitted unless there is an exceptional reason.

MailOnline has contacted Jamie’s representatives for comment.
