‘Let’s see what happens’: Ben Fordham says he could have a fourth child with wife Jodie Speers in the next year

Ben Fordham, 43, and wife Jodie Speers, 37, welcomed their third child, a daughter Marigold ‘Goldie’ Jean last year.

But the couple are already thinking about expanding their family with another baby within the next year.

‘I warned Jodie that if you open up the door to the third, you are opening the door to a fourth,’ he told Stellar magazine this week.

‘So let’s see what happens in the next 12 months…’ he added.

Jodie admitted that she always planned to have three children, and that having Goldie last year has ‘been such a delight’.

‘Seeing the other kids play with her is the most beautiful thing,’ she said.

Recently, the TV presenter told his children that he is ‘proud of them’ for their maturity and understanding amid the once-in-a-lifetime event. 

He shared an adorable clip to Instagram, in which he has a conversation about coronavirus with the two youngsters.   

‘I’m just telling these two how proud of them I am because they’ve been dealing with this drama so good. You tell everyone, what aren’t you allowed to do at the moment?’ Ben said in the clip.

‘Go to the playground and have play-dates. We can’t go to restaurants but we can get takeaway for some of them!’ Freddy replied. 

‘We can’t go to parks,’ Pearl added.   

‘I said that Pearl. But we can go to parks, we just can’t go on the equipment. And no school, no play group and no pre school,’ Freddy said before the clip ended.  

Ben captioned the video: ‘Shout out to all the kids. You guys and girls are legends. When this is over, y’all getting ice cream.’
