After enjoying a smoothie with her boy, January was clearly in the mood for a laugh as she shared the funny exchange.

Alongside an image of her grinning face which showed remnants of food stuck in her pearly whites, January shared a caption in which she played ignorant as her son questioned why she looked ‘scary’ when she smiled.

Captioning the picture, she penned: ‘Kid: “ew mom don’t smile at me you look scary.” Me: “why is there something in my teeth?” Kid: “did you fall in the dirt?” Me: “must be my smoothie, I better take a pic”.’

Despite her dental gaffe, January still cut a chic figure in a plunging floral dress.

Earlier this month, the star shared a rare photos of her son Xander as he protested the killing of George Floyd.

January, who has never publicly revealed the identity of Xander’s father, captioned the image with: ‘I promise that I will always continue to talk to my child about inequality. And I promise to do all I can to learn more.’

She continued: ‘We have had many more of these necessary hard conversations over the last few days, about why people are so angry and sad.

‘For a child who didn’t used to see color amongst his friends it’s hard for him to understand, to understand why the past he learns about in school is still very present in our world today.’
