Formula One four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel drives his last night of the nightmares on a Ferrari. Nothing works and self-confidence is missing.
Former F1 driver Mark Webber said he had talked to Vettel about the situation after the British GP.
Webber dresses Vettel’s situation without embellishing one word: terrible.
– I talked to him and he told me he couldn’t find a feel for the current car. He’s lost with it and has no confidence in it, Webber says on Channel 4, referring to Ferrari’s sluggish SF1000 car.
Webber suggests that the thing is no better in the depot.
– Operating there does not give him the confidence that he will be able to take the car to the extremes. We even saw him having to check his car himself during the drills, which is a horrible situation for the driver, Webber formulates.
