The injury to Toronto Maple Leafs defender Jake Muzzin frightened hockey in the NHL on Tuesday. Muzzin was taken on a stretcher out of the trough and further to the hospital.

However, the story seems to have a happy ending.

– Muzzin is fresh and able to move all his limbs, Maple Leafs announced.

Pierre-Luc Dubois of Columbus Blue Jackets would tint Muzzinia behind the Toronto goal. Muzzin crashed and hit his head on the knee of Blue Jackets striker Oliver Bjorkstrand.

The situation did not look serious immediately after what happened. However, Muzzin remained on the surface of the ice and was eventually taken out of the trough on a stretcher.

Toronto defeated Columbus 3-0 and leveled the NHL playoff qualifier round wins to 1-1. The teams will meet next Thursday. The actual playoffs in the NHL can be reached with three wins.
