Introduced in 2015, the Mercedes me application is expanding into a complete digital ecosystem. In the future, there will be three applications: Mercedes me, Mercedes me Service and Mercedes me Store, according to a Mercedes release.

Apps can be downloaded from the App Store and the Google Play Store. Updates will be even faster, and the applications will be easier and more intuitive to use than before.

In the future, the operation of the applications will be closely linked and can be managed with a common username. Visual and factual content can be tailored to the consumer’s own needs.

Mercedes me connects the owner’s smartphone to his vehicle. Key information such as mileage, fuel range and tire pressures are displayed as soon as the application is opened.

Through the application, you can use, for example, an additional heater, a sunroof and open and close side windows.

Mercedes me Service reminds of service visits such as repairs and periodic maintenance, provides information if any of the car’s warning lights come on and allows service to be booked directly via your smartphone.

Mercedes me Store in turn, provides convenient access to Mercedes-Benz digital products and services.
