The Vancouver Canucks have suffered a huge loss. Striker Micheal Ferland has been injured and left the playoffs altogether, says an NHL reporter Elliotte Friedman. He is no longer expected to play in solving games.

There is no information on the cause or nature of Ferland’s injury. All that is known is that Ferland had to be sidelined right at the start of the previous match. In exceptional circumstances, teams will not report any injuries ahead so that potential cases of coronavirus do not spread to the public.

Fans had their own theories to Friedman’s announcement. According to their speculations, the injury has its roots in the fight seen in the first match. Ferland has a history of concussions, and fans were blunted on Twitter by the coach Travis Green for letting him fight.

– Hi, let’s fight a guy who has had concussions all year. Well played Travis, one fan commented.
