Sarah Jane Crawford reveals she has given BIRTH to a baby girl

Sarah Jane Crawford has given birth to a baby girl.

The TV and radio presenter, 38, announced that she has welcomed her first child with her football manager partner Brian Barry-Murphy on Thursday.

Sarah shared an adorable black and white first snap of her little girl on her Instagram page, where her tiny newborn baby was holding onto one of her fingers.

She captioned the sweet snap: ‘So tell me how do you do? Finally I meet you. You don’t know what I’ve been through, Waiting and wondering about you I had a dream my trip would end up at you, And now I know paradise. She’s here.’

Before falling pregnant with her baby daughter Sarah suffered a miscarriage last year, which she admitted made her little girl’s arrival even more special.

She told Hello! magazine: ‘After experiencing a loss last year, finally bringing a life into this world was the most incredible moment ever. It felt so miraculous and Brian and I are over the moon.’

Just days ago Sarah revealed she was ‘almost there’ as she shared a snap of her bump, as she posed for a selection of snaps in the mirror.

Alongside the pictures, she wrote: ‘Almost there…I’m not going to lie it’s been a challenging few weeks !! Carrying A human is no joke.

‘I have incredible love and support around me which I’m SO grateful for. But this experience has made me think long and hard about many other women who aren’t so fortunate and find themselves under duress whilst creating a new life.

In June, Sarah shared a sweet gender reveal video for her followers and friends, as she revealed they were expecting a little girl. 

The media personality took to Instagram to post a clip of herself popping a party cannon which showered her with pink confetti. 

Sarah-Jane appeared delighted over the news as she started dancing and giggling over the exciting news.

The host of the Sunday Chart Show on Hits Radio discovered she was pregnant before Christmas, and announced her pregnancy in May.

After a difficult first trimester, Sarah said she was feeling ‘more energised’ as she prepared to enter the final stage.

She told HELLO! magazine: ‘We are both over the moon. We found out just before Christmas. It was an incredible present.

‘I’ve noticed my body is changing with the seasons. When summer comes it will be the blossoming of everything. It’s an amazing journey.’

Rochdale manager Brian, 41, has an eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

Sarah said: ‘Blending a family is a special thing. I’ve come from a blended family tooBrian is very excited to be a dad all over again. 

‘He loves being a dad and he knew (being a parent) is something I really wanted, too. It’s a new chapter in our relationship.’

Sarah, who has West African and Irish heritage, said that, having dealt with insecurities, she would be passing on a positive message to her child.

She added: ‘I had things I hated about myself, like my lips, when I was growing up, but now I’m really proud of my looks. I’ll pass on the message to my child that ‘You’re beautiful.’ 

‘I want them to know that their uniqueness is what makes them special. I want them to feel proud of themselves and of their own natural beauty.

‘When it comes to learning to love yourself, I have lots of good life experience to pass on.’
