And Charli XCX and her beau, Huck Kwong, looked loved-up as they enjoyed a leisurely stroll in Los Angeles on Friday.

The singer, 28, and her partner kept a low profile and prioritised safety as they both wore face masks amid the Covid-19 crisis after grabbing a quick bite to eat.

Charli cut a stylish figure in a unbuttoned oversized pinstriped shirt with matching high-waist shorts.

She opted for a cropped white tank top that showcased her toned midriff and a pair of boxfresh trainers.

The singer kept her brunette tresses in a sleek bun and protected her face with a pair of black shades and a white face mask, which covered her stunning features.

Huck was seen sporting a white tee with a black and white check logo and a matching face mask.

He opted for a pair of black shorts and kept his raven locks in a natural curl as they walked hand-in-hand.

Despite becoming closer than ever during the lockdown, Charli admitted that the couple almost broke up before the pandemic as distance kept them apart.

The singer said that their decision to live together during quarantine helped to save their relationship, and made her realise she can ‘trust Huck with her life.’

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music in May, she explained: ‘You know, we were, I’m not going to say like at the end of the road, but close to it.

‘We were living on separate sides of the country even though we were physically far apart, we were emotionally quite distant as well. ‘

‘And this time period, I’m extremely lucky that it has brought us physically close together because now we’re living in the same house but also emotionally, and I finally understand that this person is somebody who I can trust with my life and I will have my security and protection at the front point of their heart no matter what.’

Charli added that she felt ‘lucky’ to be together with Huck for so long, as she said: ‘If you’d have told me that two months ago, you’re going to spend 60 days solid with this person who you’re in a relationship with, I would have been like, are you joking? I don’t think that’s possible.

‘But actually it’s been really great and I think it’s like proven to me that sometimes in life you just have to throw yourself into something without thinking about what the consequences, what might happen, what could go wrong, what could go right, like just do it. You know?’
