Hollyoaks’ Ali Bastian looks radiant in throwback photos from her wedding

Hollyoaks‘ Ali Bastian was ‘feeling reflective’ as she shared a series of throwback snaps from her wedding day in February 2019. 

The actress, 38, looked radiant as she posed alongside her Hollyoaks co-stars Jodi Albert, Sarah Jayne Dunn and Carley Stenson. 

Ali, who is married to fellow actor David O’Mahony, told how she was missing her friends a lot amid the second coronavirus lockdown. 

She wrote: ‘Feeling reflective today. Miss my girls so much. This octopus cuddle was THE BEST @jodialbert @sarahjaynedunn @carleystenson1.

‘I’m not going to let you women go when I get to smoosh your heads again like this. (Little smooshed blonde head at the back belongs to Sarah) xxxxxxxx’. 

The ladies all looked sensational in the snaps as they posed in front of a pink and white floral backdrop.

Jodi commented on the post and wrote: ‘Love you all my soul sisters’, while Sarah Jayne added: ‘Love you. Miss you. Can’t wait for this moment xxxxxx’. 

Ali played Becca Dean on the Channel 4 soap from 2001 to 2007 while Sarah Jayne stars as Mandy Richardson.

Jodi, who is married to Westlife’s Kian Egan, played Debbie Dean on the series while Carley played Steph Cunningham. 

Speaking to OK! magazine about her wedding, Ali said: ‘The whole day just felt magical. It was everything I dreamed of and more. It really was the happiest day of my life.’ 

The ceremony was held at Old Marylebone Town Hall and included a choir that Carley sang in as Ali walked down the isle. Carley’s husband Danny Mac was also in attendance.

‘Ali took my breath away. She looked absolutely stunning, so incredibly gorgeous. I felt so proud – proud of how beautiful she looked, and proud that she was on time!’ David quipped of his wife. ‘I’m very grateful to Ali for being my perfect partner.

‘So the last person I thanked was Ali – I’m so proud, grateful and in love with her, it was very emotional to declare that in front of a room full of people.’

‘We held each other’s hands so tightly all the way through the ceremony. We were both on the edge of tears,’ Ali recalled.

The actress gave birth to the couple’s daughter Isla Rose in March at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Isla Rose was born as You’ve Got A Friend by Carole King came on the couple’s birth playlist, and Ali admitted the song holds a special meaning for the couple.

She told Hello! magazine: ‘David was in Beautiful, the Carole King musical, when we first met so it was a huge part of the beginning of our relationship. It was a really special moment.’
